Effect of Ethanol Added to Diesel Fuel on the Range of Fuel Spray

The constantly growing number of vehicles sold and operated has resulted in greater contribution automobiles to global pollution. One way reduce emissions carbon dioxide (CO2) toxic compounds, including the particulates nitrogen oxides (NOx) contained exhaust gases, is use alternative fuels. Within this group fuels, those plant origin, mainly alcohols, are attracting more attention because their high oxygen content (around 35%), low viscosity, good atomisation. However, fuels have different physicochemical properties than diesel fuel, these may affect formation fuel spray, which, turn, impacts operation internal combustion engine, operating parameters, purity gases emitted into environment. To make sure type can be used compression ignition engines, it necessary gain a thorough understanding phenomena relationships occurring during injection. study investigated effect ethanol added on range spray. Firstly, kinematic viscosity was determined for diesel–ethanol blends with varying proportional contents ethanol, up 30% v/v. test carried out at 40 °C compliance normative requirements.
